Vintage Bohemian Garnet Vermeil Necklace
Excellent condition. This is an amazing high quality necklace. Absolutely wonderful!
This is an interesting piece. There's various varieties of garnet: Almandite, pyrope and rhodolite and then some red glass. All of which appear to be original.
The necklace length is approx. 17 1/2 inches not including the drop. The drop from the pendant to the bottom of the drop is 2 inches.
I'm circa dating this piece at late 1800s to early 1990s.
Necklace weighs 36.1 grams.
The pearls appear to be natural.
The catch is trademarked K.Q. and hallmarked with a box with a lower case p.
